CANADA LOOKS TO ADVANCE TO FRIDAY SEMI-FINAL MATCH-UP IN QUEBEC CITY

Canada looks to take another step towards defending its gold medal and becoming the first host country since 1986 to win the IIHF World Championship when it faces Norway in quarterfinal action on Wednesday. Canada hopes for a better performance against Norway than in their last meeting six days ago, where a Rick Nash goal with less than four minutes to go earned the hosts a hard-fought 2-1 win. The winner will advance to Quebec City, where it will face either Sweden of the Czech Republic in Friday’s semi-finals. The game can be seen LIVE on TSN/RDS, beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT.
