It was all Ontario on the ice Sunday evening, but it was the Red team not the
Blue team to walk out of the rink with gold. Ontario Red beat Ontario Blue 5-1 to win six-straight
championships.

Quebec may not have made it to the final game at this year’s tournament, but
the team still walked away with medals, playing a fast-paced game to defeat Manitoba 2-1 Sunday in

It took ten minutes of overtime and a shootout, but Kristen Richards (Toronto, Ont.) used her soft
hands to get the only goal of the game Saturday night, securing Ontario Blue its first-ever berth into the
gold medal matchup.

Manitoba fought back from a 4-0 deficit to score three late game goals, but pulling goaltender Abby
Ryplanski (Winnipeg, Man.) wasn’t enough to beat Ontario Red in semifinal action Saturday at South Surrey
Arena.
ALBERTA 4 - ATLANTIC 2 5TH PLACE| SAT. NOV. 7
It was team effort that earned Alberta a 4-2 win over Team Atlantic on Saturday at South Surrey
Arena, with four different players contributing goals to help their squad take fifth place in its final game
of the tournament.
SASK. 4 – BRITISH COLUMBIA 2 7TH PLACE | SAT. NOV. 7
Bailey Habscheid (Wymark, Sask.) opened and closed the scoring for her team Saturday morning in
Surrey, helping her team beat British Columbia 4-2 and snag seventh place in the standings.
